When I started work at my current office I had to wait to be allocated a parking space, for my motorbike, in the underground carpark. I then started coming in occasionally on a bicycle. I was told I needed to apply for another parking space. I pointed out I only needed once space, because I would not be coming in on a motorcycle and bicycle on the same day, but was informed I needed two separate parking "spaces". I now am the proud owner of two spaces - I didn't think I would win the argument.
