Wednesday: Slumming It

Honestly, sometimes it is ridiculous!  The seedy dives I have to eat in for work!

OK - I jest.  Tonight I was fortunate enough to attend a dinner at a private museum in Zagreb, the Marton Museum.  The owner was there and gave a short talk - apparently he has the largest collection of Viennese porcelain after the Hermitage.  Needless to say, that was not the porcelain on which we had our meal!

The price I had to pay for this was to be able to sustain a conversation about polymers used in road-building.  If I told you that I knew less than nothing about that, I would be bigging up my knowledge........
