Reuben had an appalling night of vomiting and violent empty retching which landed him up in the Emergency Room, diagnosis an ear infection brought up by the virus we've all been fighting. He always gets hit so much harder and the pain on his face last night, straight into my eyes, left me feeling wretched and very scared as he tried to catch breathes in between. We all slept this afternoon and Callum did a longer day at school so that we could all rest.

The antibiotic shot in his IV seems rather miraculous and as with most events, you wouldn't believe it today with the arrival of Kristina for the evening to help and the three of them doing rolly pollies on the rug.
