Red Breasted Nuthatch

Had a nice relaxing day after my run to Portland yesterday. The weather cooperated some and I got to watch the birds. I've been trying to get a good one of the nuthatch, but they are quick. I ended up with a great one of this guy and the siskin in full battle, but there was so much blur I decided to go with this stiller shot. You can still see the siskin's irritation at the hit and go visitor. The nuthatch was having none of it and fought back accordingly. Good for him!
