FM3
This is the immigration office in Zihuatanejo and it is featured as today's photo because we just received our FM3 cards allowing us to stay in Mexico more than six months at a time. It was relatively easy process, three visits to the office, some paperwork (which the agent helped us fill out), some supporting documents, photos, and a fee paid to a neighboring bank. We expected a lot more "process" in order to become semi=permanent residents of Mexico, but the government has been making it easier and easier for foreigners to relocate to this wonderful country. It is a double celebration day as we got our FM3's and our good friends, Mike and Sheri, arrived from our old hometown for a brief visit. Life is truly good!
