Christchurch Portable Café

One of the more interesting things about living in the new Christchurch, is that the city is constantly changing. Old buildings being demolished, and new being erected.

More fascinating however is the community response, and the sense of ... for lack of a better word ... fun. Here's a "cafe" set up on what used to be a dairy, that is now a vacant site, with some flowers planted by a local school. The "cafe" even has its own Facebook page.

I see things like this, stop, observe and smile. Which I guess, is exactly why they are there. It's makes our city more fun to be in, and makes you proud of the people here.

Pilates today, felt good to stretch the back out. I'm off (well online actually) to buy a long foam roller.
