THERE THEY ARE,

butterflies on the heather flowers! And a yellow one I saw too whirling in the air.
A lovely sunny day!
Almost all the water of the harbour has disappeared, a big sand field with a small stream is all that remains, some ducks swimming in it. The swan couple gone.
In the canal that goes from the harbour to the Diemel I see 5 big and 2 small carps huddled in a cluster together. The walls are damaged and must be repaired.
I feel a bit tired from yesterday's journey.

My haiku:

Is there an ointment
In the air that we can use
Butterflies eat sweets

And the proverb from Horace:

Let us snatch our opportunity from the day.

But Ovid said it thus:

Pluck with quick hands the fruit that passes.
