Modernized Magnolia

I always think of magnolias as an old-fashioned bloom, probably because they are one of the symbols of our old south before the Civil War.

There have been many magnolia blooms blipped already this spring (and they have been GORGEOUS), even though it's still early, so I wanted to do something different with this.

I took a tour around my daughter's yard, and I had more than 10 photos that were very blippable. I sent them all in an e-mail to her to enjoy while she's at work, and I started playing with this photo.
