... I bought the D700.

Yes, it's that EXIF again. 1/640", f2.8 at ISO6400.

The inset is an actual size crop of the jpeg straight from the camera. Yes, there's noise there, but it's a totally usable picture. My D70s could kind-of give a usable picture at ISO1600 in the right light, with some heavy noise reduction afterwards. But this is straight out of the box with no jiggery-pokery.

Now need to get some prints to see how they hold up.

Oh yeah - the pic is of Teaser and Mrs B practising their Dressage to Music. I am going to be so sick of that music by the time she competes...
