Sidlesham Quay

Made an early start today to take son J to Heathrow. He's off to China to see friends he met a couple of years ago; R, S and I will be following him there in April.

On the way back home I made rather a big detour to look for a paddyfield warbler that has spent the winter near Chichester but I don't think it's been seen for a few days and I couldn't find it.

Nice place to walk round though, and I paricularly liked the old cottages and mill buildings around Sidlesham Quay. Which must be dry most of the time - the water only reaches it at high tide, and I suspect only when there is a spring tide, as now.
