Bec's book

This time last week Bec came to hear me deliver my professorial lecture. Tonight I witnessed her speak at Blackwells at a book launch for three books, of which two - Roman camps in Britain and Roman camps in Scotland - Bec is the author. I really enjoyed the presentation, and the chance to ask questions (as a non-archaeologist) afterwards.

Another bonus was meeting up with Caroline Wickham-Jones, an archaeologist based on Orkney who happened to live on the same street as me when we were children in the north east of England. Her brother Mark was in my class at primary school for a very short time too.
