Ice road

Spring has proceeded rapidly. Today was the first time in a few months when the rain fell down in the form of water. It didn't rain heavily but it lasted for several hours.

This is the road on ice from island of Rönö to Varvisaari. I don't believe it's used anymore. Even if it would still carry a car you'd get stuck very easily. The top layer of ice has melted and there's slush and pieces of ice floating in the water. But further away the ice is still good for walking.

Earlier I've blipped at this place during early winter.
