the new chicken what a cheek

Well after i segregated the cockerel I got two point of lay white star female chickens today - I was worried about them settling in with the ducks and young chicks. I went to check the new chicks had found the bed quarters (in duck house down on the ground is the ducks. Upstairs level the chickens) to find the new chicken had stolen the ducks bed!!! The ducks let her too and just settled beside her. I then moved her to her quarters and she went back to the ducks. Moved her again and she then cuddled up with the other new chicken and the young chicks. I guess that is called settling in just fine. I think the Ducks were pleased to get their bed back though he he
