More New Forth Crossing

This is another in my regular series of pictures of ground that will be intersting some day but are currently piles of earth.

This is land just to the west of the M90, so it's on the north side of the ridge. As you drive north on the M90 (or is it A90 at that point), these workings are on your left... it looks as if it's a road being driven up the hill just west of the existing motorway.

Whether this is actually the route of the new road, or just somewhere to make it easier for the builders to work, I don't know.

The colours looked really strange out of the camera. I've adjusted them a touch, trying to make them look mmore natural, but they're still not quite right!
