That's all Folks

That's all indeed. All the Hermod had to do here at North Everest was to lift off this tiny module. All the work for just a 12 hour job. On the other hand, what's the difference between 12 hours and 12 days? We have to run out and bring in the anchors anyway. By the way, we were just half a centimeter too high to pass underneath the bridge between the two platforms, but the Hermod cranes could reach us with only our aftdeck under the bridge. A one tug operation therefore, as originally planned. It would be such a close call with this moderate swell, that to gamble on passing safely underneath the bridge was far too great a risk. And there is a golden rule in the offshore: never touch a facility with a vessel.
