Don't know any of these people.

I've had this a while now and really must get round to filling it with people I know and scenes of my own. I know what I have in mind. I want to take grey pictures with an item of red in it so it matches the hall and landing.
Getting time to actually do this is proving impossible so I'll be looking at pictures of strangers for quite a while yet I think.

Fed up with the district nurses. Last Monday one came out with a trainee and said that after their visit on Thursday they probably won't need to put another dressing on it.

Mum has almost lost a toenail and it has been bleeding. I can't bear to deal with it and she has diabetes so I'd really prefer them to dress it.

Turns out this is the same district nurse who saw my friend a week or so ago to remove his stitches. She told him she wouldn't put a dressing on it and today I learned from him that it has become infected.

I waited in all day for them to call and they never turned up. I phoned the surgery and got the usual that they can't contact them while they're out but would leave a message for them to pick up.
Hmmm, when they are here they get calls to say can you go to such and such.

Anyway all that aside I eventually got a phone call about 5pm to say she wouldn't be coming and would Monday be ok and again said it probably wouldn't need a dressing from Monday onwards.

I told her that I can't bear to deal with it myself so it needs to be in a condition where it is acceptable to be left uncovered.
What I haven't told her yet is that I will call the out of hours nurses out and tell them why I'm calling them.

Plus she doesn't know I know she's the one responsible for leaving the dressing off my friend's wound and it turning septic.
