Boy's Toys

Got out the hedge trimmer this morning to finish tidying up the hedges that I should have done last summer/autumn.

I know they should be trimmed in late summer, but she who must be obeyed doesn't like hedge trimmings in her borders when the plants are in full bloom and growth. Result is the outsides get done in summer and the insides get done either in winter or in early spring, as now.

That's the method in our madness.
