Red 'K6' Telephone Box

Saw this forlorn little K6 telephone box on the way to my Nannerch, Flintshire meeting. Made me sad. They (the boxes) seem to keep cropping up in my public art/realm project thinking these days as they are all so often neglected and unloved like this. Am trying to link arts projects in Isle of Man with them currently.

How great they can be when Sir Giles Gilbert Scott's design classic are properly cared for and coveted - see: Gallery on the Green in Settle for their wonderful 'smallest gallery in the world' cared for and curated by the local community living around the small square where it is located.

Come on communities, you can get spares on Bygones and most likely all that is needed is a lick of paint - this site also sells GPO red oxide primer and Red Post Office Paint . Dont wait for BT or whoever else it is.
