Don't look now but you're on camera!

Another beautiful day, it really feels as if Spring has arrived. This afternoon did one of our favourite walks leaving the car at Kepwick and taking a circular route. At one point there is a wide stream to cross and the bridge disappeared in the floods of a few years ago. It has always provided us with a challenge and we have had to be resourceful in getting across without getting too wet. Well the fun has been spoilt as a spanking new bridge has appeared and we had a more conventional crossing!
Plenty of farm animals out in the fields including these cows. They trotted across in a group to stand close and watch Bracken. We were very taken with the individual fancy 'top knots' that they were sporting. One of them looked as if she was fresh from the salon having had a perm!
Eating out at The Dog & Gun tonight, it is Friday after all! Another early night I think, still feel I have sleep to catch up on.
