Tofino, Vancouver Island

Today was a driving tour across Vancouver Island from Victoria to Tofino. It doesn't look far on the map but its a 5 hour drive, as it happened through driving rain and snow. We passed through the town of Duncan (yes Dunk we gave you a wave!), Chemainus, Port Alberni and finally the oasis that is Tofino. This is Andy on the beach right outside our room as the sun went down.

All that driving had made us hungry, and we enjoyed a really good meal and well deserved glass of wine before falling asleep to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach below.
