Hoss sandwich?
I said goodbye to our old home at the end of February, at least I thought I had, but unfortunately had to go and arrange a few unexpected things there this week.
Cycling back through my old cycle route, I passed the small enclosure which held those poor Shetland ponies who died in the winter of 2010/11 (I called the RSPCA equivalent when I thought they were being mis-treated, but was unfortunately too late).
There are only two left now, and luckily they look like they're well-treated. In the barmy warmth that was today, the chickens had come to peck around as well, and I was glad to see the rabbits had survived the cold winter. Last seen, they were scrubbing around in the snow.
