What a summery day it has been!
We had a trip to the airport planned to look at the planes. A pub/hotel close by boasts a beer garden that is 'the closest you can get to commercial aircraft in the world!'
Whether or not that is actually true, it feels like the planes swoop in at touching distance. To a two-and-a-half-foot Kai, the speed, size, sight and sound must have been spectacular, and he was giddy as a tigger!

I got a fair few photos of planes and sky and a few surreptitious ones of very serious-looking plane spotters with huge binoculars. However, I liked this one of Kai the best, finishing his babycino (tiny cup of frothed milk with chocolate sprinkles) with his finger, since it sums up how much he enjoyed the day.
