Yum!
Master Pink has been to school today in his sportswear for Sports Relief Day. The whole school have ran/walked a mile around the school field. "It was four and a half times, Mummy, but we were allowed to stop for a little rest if we got tired". I'm so glad he did it, he seemed very proud of himself, and it's raised money for sports relief. However, this evening, after a mile of walking/running/jogging and a half hour swimming lesson, he was very tired and very grumpy. Mmmm....great!
Miss Pink has been to pre-school this morning. She has "done cooking with Cecilly and bricks with Aidan, and we did singing, and I had a hot lunch and it was fish fingers and can we go home now please?" We did a little detour via the garden centre on the way home, I was looking for a present for someone, Miss Pink was looking at all the pretties. She loves daffodils at the moment, and they had huge trays of primrose and polyanthus, she loved all the colours and told me the names of them all. In the garden centre they have a little cafe with a small play area for toddlers. Well Miss Pink decided we were going for a play. "You get cake, Mummy, I going to play with dinosaurs". Righto. Two scones later and an apple juice, we headed home, looking in everyone's gardens for pretties and ladybirds.
At swimming this evening she did a sing song for me and my friend who was also spectating. She sang so beautifully and was doing all the actions. She also did a big grin at the end of each "performance" and awaited her applause.
Back at home after a few rounds of grumpiness from Master pink in the car, I decided it was time for a chill out before bed. So Peppa Pig and doughnuts (left over from Master's birthday) for pudding, and that was the mini pinks for ten minutes.
yawn....it must be bedtime now.
