Peering through a veil of greenery

That's kind of what I feel like tonight, not the greenery part, just the peering through a veil bit. I had an appointment with the retinal specialist first thing this morning, and he told me what I already suspected. The swelling of the arteries in my retina has returned despite the laser treatment I had in February. Result: my vision in that eye is much worse. He gave me an injection that should lessen the swelling and improve my vision, but that isn't a permanent fix. So I'm not a happy camper, and with all the numbing drops and the injection, my eye is tired, so I won't be spending any more time on the computer. I'll be back tomorrow after a good night's sleep.
