Woodpecker

Although this woodpecker is a frequent visitor to our birdfeeder, he/she is also the shyest. Any slight movement inside the house and it is off!
So I was happy to get this through the kitchen window as I cleared up the breakfast dishes.
As it turned out there was no opportunity later. Although the sun did break through the har, work was too busy to get out at lunchtime and the har had come down again by the time I left.

So although its nowhere near sharp, at least I had my camera close enough to get a blip!
