Hangovers and Fire walkers

No Hangover! Well I didn't have one, thankfully! But a few of the group were suffering for their consumption last night and were a shade of green all day!

Our day started with our penultimate temple of the tour, the Dambulla caves house various versions of the statue of Buddha, ranging from the 17th century up to the 20th century.

We then visited a spice garden which was just that, a garden with various herbs and spices growing (including cocaine)

Finally we arrived in the city of Kandy and the final temple of our tour! The temple of the tooth supposedly houses one of Buddhas teeth but There is sceptics who say the tooth was stolen and destroyed on more than one occasion so it's more likely to be a crocodiles tooth in the casket.

Our day finished with a local show of dance and drumming (this didn't help those still suffering from hangovers)
