Eats, drinks and leaves, Comma.

Saw two of these Comma butterflies flutter by this morning. So it is really Spring!

These butterflies must be the Autumn generation who have been hibernating over winter and will be around for a few more weeks, then they will disappear and the new Summer generation will appear at the end of May.

BTW, they are named the Comma after the shape of a marking on their hind wings.

Apologies to Lynn Truss for paraphrasing her book title:), but at least it's a better title than yesterdays!
