Sunrise at Gooseberry

I was leading a Landscape Workshop today and we were photographing the sunrise on Gooseberry in Westport Massachusetts. Just prior to the actual sunrise the sky and cloudsd developed a bright Reddish Purple hue which lasted about 5 minutes
