Time for a change

There was lots and lots of buds but not a single one wide open. And no wonder because it was dim, almost rainy. These guys wait for a sunny day.

Coltsfoot is the always the first wild flower of the spring, they're weeds alright, modest and small but a bright dash of yellow to mark the start of the new growth. A bit early this time compared to last year.
