Cheesed Off with a dented pride.

Well, today has been a whirlwind. Last night mum called to say they would pop in for lunch today. Unheard of for them to pop up for the day and especially at such short notice. Now the girls will understand the panic to get the place tidy becuase mum is coming (even though the house was cleaned yesterday).

Then, we awake today at 06:30 to discover the cat has a rather large leg injury. So much frantic rushing ensued to get him sorted and get extra supplies for lunch.

Anyway it's now nearly 12hours later and he's had a lot of stiches, a general anesthetic and was really lucky not to have done worse. But of course he's now feeling sorry for himself and complianing about his new collar.

His mother is also cheesed off because we have had to sit here all afternoon with the windows and doors shut so he couldn't go out. He could have picked a rainy day! Still, mum arrived, lunched and went which did brighten my day.
