Between the Haar, Through the Bushes
Woke up this morning hoping to be greeted with the sun streaming through the window but it was a wee bit dull. Phoned Mr D. at the back of twelve and he told me the mist was down so instead of a wander up the hills, we decided to wander along the Union Canal instead. Driving along the bypass, the haar was lovely along the side of the road and I was thinking a nice misty canal shot was in the offing today. However, the sun broke through as we started off.
No misty shot but goodness me, such a noise from the trees and bushes. And it was an "up through the bushes" shoot today. The wee guy above is a house sparrow and he was one of 7 or 8 occupying this one tree. They were happy enough to stay singing and watching through the branches. Here's another of him and one of the young ladies in the party. A little further along the way this robin was playing the same game.
The haar fell again as I headed back down the road and it's a real "pea souper" now. That hour's sunshine was it today!
Teatime. Will be back later to catch up with everyone's day. Hope you're all having a great one!
