Paddington

Finally on my way home. It's been a very tiring 2 and a half days. Travelling home my ticket had me go via London, negotiating the tube alone which I haven't done in more than a decade! Luckily, as it turned out, a couple of others from my course were making a similar cross London journey so I only ended up doing the last bit alone.

As we pulled into Paddington I got quite excited about the little bear named after this part of London. Ideally I would have wanted to make a purchase from this stand for the children but there was only time to do a quick blip. Maybe next time....

I'm on the final stretch now, hoping to be home soon after 8. A nice deep bath and maybe a takeaway are on the cards. Think mr mc is going to be a bit hungry! Not because he can't cook, I hasten to add! Just cos it's difficult to feed yourself when you have all 3 monkeys on your own. Not sure I can face a big plate of food though. Feeling decidedly ropy from the rich meals I've been given while I've been away. I didn't even enjoy eating it all that much. Let's hope it passes once I'm home.
