first day of summer??

Never mind spring, today's weather was more like summer (as it goes in Inverness). We spent most of the day outside tidying up the garden, hanging out washing, and sowing a few seeds - trying not to get too ahead of ourselves as there will no doubt be a few frosts to go yet. When E & I came home from school we spread out a blanket in the front garden and had a little picnic. They were delighted as was I, and even H joined in. Coffee in the sunshine. Hope there are many more days like this to come.
