Scots Pine

A day in the Cairngorms today but not on the big ones.
It was very warm for March (I took far too many clothes expecting a cold wind on top) but also very hazy with flat light most of the day.
The sun did come out mid-afternoon and we sat by the Dee for a while and took pics of the river and a strange plant - possibly a liverwort.
The pics of the hills I took were acceptable but the ones taken later were better and I have several nice ones of the river - but Mr Rat blipped a very similar one so I've gone for this close-up of a Scots Pine.
Went to see baby Daniel this evening - he slept most of the time!
