Today's the day ....................... for a review

Well that's it then - the concert is over - and I'm pleased to say, that it all went well!

Amazingly, we managed to sing right through the Dvorak without having to stop because the basses were on a different tempo to the rest of us. I'm not saying we didn't make any mistakes - but somehow it all sounded alright. Some people in the audience even said that they preferred it to the Mendelssohn and found it very moving. Praise indeed!

This is what us women in the choir wear on our black tops. The President - who has no truck with foreign words calls them our corr-sages (with the emphasis on the first syllable and with the second rhyming with pages).

Ah well - time to put it back in the box until the next concert ...................
