Vernet les Bains

The choice for today's blip was obvious. I apologise for posting this picture postcard shot of the village but it is one I sometimes use as a screensaver when I am missing the mountains, more specifically le Canigou, sacred mountain of the Catalans, visible from most points in Catalonia north and south of the border. The sun was on the wrong side this morning but that will just give me the excuse in the future of posting another shot of the village at a different time of the day. It is great to be back, catching up with friends and enjoying the sunshine and the birdsong.
