The seen and unseen

While this is visible to all who pass it (hundreds every hour) , what you can't see from this picture is the bubbling, decomposing sewage that runs through this open sewer.

Amazing really that a city can have beautiful cafes and restaurants on every corner and yet the sewage for the whole city still runs down the street. Strange what gets prioritised, how and why.
