Camera envy
Canterbury and I went for a kayak this morning. The weather has been on the cool side out of the sun but beautiful all day.
I saw this guy when I came down to the river to try and get a blip. Despite the sunshine, the river was surprisingly uninspiring. I think he thought I was checking him out but I was rather smitten with his camera. Of course, I burst his bubble and told him that his camera was impressive. He was fairly uncommunicative. I guess he was busy photographing a woman in a single scull, so why would he want to engage in conversation with someone with such an inferior camera (my EOS 20D). He had a 1D Mark III (I think), btw, with a HUGE lens attached. Canterbury would know what it was on sight but I'm afraid my skills aren't quite up to that.
Anyhoo, a rather mundane and boring photograph for you today.
