Cruel day

What a nasty day, hot and sunny all day! I've been looking at the sun out the window from the sofa as I try write my dissertation. I went for a jog/run so that I could leave the house but unfortunatly I don't really like running so it wasn't a whole lot of fun but doing something not enjoyable was the only way I could justify leaving my dissertation. I got these daffodils whilst recovering in the garden afterwards. Bring on the rain for the next 2 months!
