Welcome sight

Busy day doing not very much, which has been lovely!

Lazy morning after last night and the clocks going forward then up to the pub for a lovely Sunday lunch - a Christmas present from good friends - then an afternoon just chilling. Perfect!

James took the bubble wrap off his ferns and we were delighted to see some growth on all three of them. The winter before last badly affected them and last summer they were in a right state, compared to the first year we had them, so we weren't holding out much hope for signs of life. However hurrah's were heard all round the garden - amazing the simple things that give you such pleasure sometimes!
