Bursting Blossom

Another glorious spring - or is it summer now? - day but unfortunately P had to work. I can't complain however .... we had a fabulous day out yesterday and it wasn't as if I didn't have any work to do myself.

So after a lazy breakfast in bed I took Chester Dog for his morning walk by the lake. Quick trip to the shop and car wash and then I was all set to spend the rest of the day in the garden. Not all leisure as there were quite a few books and essays to mark - but all done now. I did start a new book too and have to say it's got me hooked. Was difficult to put down....

I swear I could see the blossom opening up as the sun was beating down.... Our little cherry tree is now a mass of white, when there was very little white yesterday.

Now getting sorted for the last week before the Easter holidays. The light is definitely at the end of the tunnel.... well until we do it all again next term....
