Basking Grass Snakes

On a walk around a local nature reserve, i saw a young lad and his dad posed with the camera. I walked up intrigued to see what they had spotted, totally shocked to see 7 active grass snakes, 2 of them being a little larger than the rest. I stood for about an hour fasinated by them. Last summer i also saw a snake, googled it and found out it was an adder, no one would believe me saying it was a grass snake, i now know it was an adder after seeing these, scary to think i was so close to it. Also saw loads of toads, making toads spawn, x rated, lovely sound they were making to.
