Smoke on the water

The first full day with Mama meant serious beach time and swimming, the kids were delighted to have her back and it was obvious to see just how much she?d missed them too.

Toni and I took a nice walk along the beach front while Sam slept and Lilli played with Louie. As well as checking out the ultra touristy shops it also gave us a chance to check out the source of the fire which was responsible for the plumes of black smoke we could see from our apartment. We couldn?t actually figure it out exactly as it was too far out but given the smell of burning plastic and that the smoke appeared to come from water we could only presume that one of the many boats in the bay had caught fire.
