Time for Change
The clocks went forward an hour today. This resulted in the central heating boiler deciding to go on strike, presumably as a result of its inbuilt computer chip. Luckily it was not difficult to fix, after being dragged from my pit to take a look. I should have set the clock last night but the thought that I was suddenly going to bed one hour later than I'd meant to put me right off my stride.
It was another great day (unless you really need the rain, in which case it was a great disappointment), we drove to Derby to visit friends and had a great lunch there followed by a very relaxing afternoon in their conservatory. I kept thinking I ought to go out into the garden to take a photo or two, and unfortunately never got around to it.
So here is a shot I took when we arrived home just after seven o'clock this evening; still light with the Sun beginning to lower in the sky. Dylan had been sitting in the window waiting for us and I think the resulting photo is a bit surreal.
