Up strangely early for Comic Relief event in Edinburgh. Down from St Giles and into Holyrood Park for 5 journeys up Queen's Drive. Well done to all who participated. This is the third wave of runners heading down the Royal Mile.

After a shower, picnic in the Meadows, then over to Inverleith Park for Lucy's birthday picnic and nice chat, further food and libations of various kinds.

Now home for mackerel. Why can't all days be like this?
