Silver Acorn

Another lovely day.

This afternoon we attended our District Scout AGM.
I have been involved with scouting one way or another for 36years.

Tony who I have known for the same length of time was awarded 'The Silver Acorn' a medal for specially distinguished services and is worn as an order around the neck on a gold ribbon.

He so deserves the recognition for all his contributions to the scouting movement.
