Forest Fire

Some friends and I popped up to Ashdown Forest for a picnic and to make the most of the good weather. Upon our arrival at Friend's Clump we saw a load of smoke billowing up from the horizon. Turns out there was a pretty big fire - with numerous fire engines in attendance as well as the Police helicopter. I hope there wasn't too much damage to the forest.
