A wonderful spring day today. We had a walk in the Great Langdale valley before going on to Hawkshead and Sawrey where we walked to a small tarn with Hayley (our brewster friend) and had supper in the Tower Bank Arms.
While in Langdale we saw a helicopter doing various manoeuvres, probably practicing for possible rescues.
