inspired by a floral welcome
I planted this pot of violas and put them outside our front door soon after we arrived here in the Autumn. Believe it or not, they have been flowering ever since. They looked a little sad in the frosty weather but perked up again when the temperature rose by a few degrees.
They have thrived on neglect. I have watered them very occasionally and removed a few dead flowers. I can't remember what I paid for them, but it was no more than a couple of pounds. Pretty good value for such a cheery welcome, I think.
