an amazing day of high atmospheric pressure causing an unusual stillness about the place...the flies loved it though and their presence caused the fish to jump in the loch and the fisherman to head out in their boats. For me, kayaking was irresistible, flies or not. So I paddled over to the other side, Clydagh bay and beyond, the water still, the Sun lurking behind a haze as I wove in and out between the islands and through the various inlets.
